LIEV SCHREIBER plays Stu Wargle, a sleazy sheriff's deputy who does little to conceal his intense resentment for his new boss, Hammond, or his animalistic desires for both Jennifer and Lisa even amidst a winged terror that threatens to kill them all.

Schreiber most recently appeared in a supporting role in the Mel Gibson starring drama "Ransom," and was recently seen as Catherine Keener's exboyfriend in Nicole Holofcener's comedy "Walking & Talking." He has also appeared in Nora Ephron's 1994 Steve MartinRob ReinerGarry Shandlingstarrer "Mixed Nuts," and in Daisy Von Schrier Mayer's 1995 release "Party Girl," appearing with Parker Posey, his sassy costar in "The Daytrippers." His other films include "Mad Love," "Denise Calls Up," "His and Hers," and a cameo role in David Schwimmers' upcoming film "Since You've Been Gone" for Miramax. Next up for Schreiber is a starring role in Barry Levinson's "Sphere."

A 1992 graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Schreiber spent a year abroad studying with the faculty from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. His stage credits include Harold Pinter's "Moonlight, with Jason Robards and Blythe Danner; the Broadway production of "In the Summer House", and the New York Shakespeare Festival production of "The Tempest" as well as productions of "Hamlet," "Richard III," "All For One," "Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet," "Escape from Happiness," "The Real Thing," and the Moscow Art Theater's production of "Ivanov" at Yale Rep., to name but a few.
