WELCOME TO SARAJEVO

In her remarkable career, EMILY LLOYD has appeared in films on both sides of the Atlantic.

At the age of fifteen, she was selected from hundreds of actresses for the lead role in the film "Wish You Were Here." As Linda, a promiscuous but vulnerable 16 year old growing up in repressive 1950' Britain, Lloyd won international acclaim.

She was named Best Actress of the year by the National Society of Film Critics, also receiving the Evening Standard Award for Best Actress and a BAFTA Best Actress nomination. "Wish You Were Here" was followed in 1989 by "Cookie," in which she stars with Peter Falk and Dianne Wiest. In the same year she starred opposite Bruce Willis in Norman Jewison's "In Country." Other films include "Chicago Joe and the Showgirl," "Scorchers," "A River Runs Through It" and most recently "When Saturday Comes."
