FAMKE JANSSEN (Trillion) rocketed to international stardom as the sexy Russian assistant, Xenia Onatopp, opposite Pierce Brosnan's 007 in the smash hit, "Goldeneye," and the dark action thriller "City of Industry," opposite Timothy Hutton, Harvey Keitel and Stephen Dortf. She also starred opposite Scott Bakula in Clive Barker's supernatural thriller "Lord of Illusions" which marked her first starring role in a major motion picture.

Born in Holland, Janssen was studying economics at a college in Amsterdam when she accepted an offer to model, and was soon in great international demand. After moving to the U.S., she put her career on hold to study writing and literature at New York's famed Columbia University, then moved to Los Angeles, where she continued to develop her acting range under noted instructor Roy London.

Janssen soon landed prominent guest spots on such television series as "The Untouchables," "Melrose Place," and "Star Trek: The Next Generation." She made her feature film debut opposite Jeff Goldblum in "Fathers and Sons." She will be featured in Robert Altman's "The Gingerbread Man" in March of this year, has just completed Woody Allen's fall 1998 project and begins filming on the John Dahldirected "Rounders," opposite Mutt Damon, Ed Norton, John Turturro and John Malkovich.
