THE WEDDING SINGER

DREW BARRYMORE (Julia) has been captivating movie­going audiences for nearly two decades. At age six, she landed a role in what would become one of the most popular films in movie history, E.T. Her portrayal of the young sister, Gertie, earned her a Youth in Film Award and a British Academy of Film and Television Artist (BAFTA) Award nomination for Most Outstanding Newcomer. Since then, her unique talent and on­screen charisma have earned her worldwide acclaim as well as starring rolls in more than a dozen features.

Barrymore made her feature film debut in 1980 in Altered States with William Hurt. Her other screen credits include Firestarter, Irreconcilable Differences, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress; Steven King's Cat's Eye, which was written especially for her; See You in the Morning; Gun Crazy, for which she earned another Golden Globe nomination; Poison Ivy; Bad Girls; Boys On The Side; Mad Love; Batman Forever, Everyone Says I Love You and Scream. She will next be seen starring in Home Fries, and she recently completed filming Cinderella in France.

She has recently expanded her involvement in the industry by starting her own production company, Flower Films, with partner Nancy Juvonen. The company has a number of projects in active development and recently signed a deal with Fox 2000.

Although acting is her passion, Barrymore is involved with various organizations, including The Wildlife Waystation, The Female Health Foundation and the Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
