THE WEDDING SINGER

ADAM SANDLER (Robbie) has made the successful transition from "Saturday Night Live" to the big screen with a string of hit films such as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and Bulletproof. His other film credits include Mixed Nuts and Airheads. He will next star in The Waterboy, opposite Kathy Bates and Fairuza Balk.

With a budget of only $12 million, Happy Gilmore was one of the most successful movies of 1996, grossing more than $40 million at the box office and $35 million on video. At the 10th annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Happy Gilmore was nominated for Best Picture.

Bulletproof opened at #1 at the box office and was in the top 10 video rentals for seven weeks. Billy Madison is a cult classic for college kids across the country, where students have "Billy" nights and "Sandier" Festivals.

During breaks from his filming schedule, Sandier made two Grammynominated comedy albums, which have sold over 3 million copies to date. In 1996, he embarked on a 21city comedy/rock tour which was showcased in a popular HBO special. His third album "What's Your Name?" was released last Fall.

In addition to his acting credits, Sandier is a talented writer. He shared screenwriting credit for Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and the upcoming The Waterboy with "Saturday Night Live's" head writer Tim Herlihy.
