RIP TORN portrays corporate big­wig Randall Tyson who is torn between the hard­working but odd­acting Darryl Witherspoon and the perfectly polished Scott Thorpe as the leading candidate for his firm's Junior Analyst position.

Torn has been acclaimed on both stage and screen, as both a performer and a director. He was an Oscar nominee for his supporting performance in the film "Cross Creek" and the recipient of an Emmy Award and multiple Cable ACE Awards for his much­praised role as Larry Sander's outspoken producer on the celebrated HBO Series "The Larry Sanders Show."

Torn's most recent film roles include the smash hit "Men In Black" and the animated feature "Hercules," as the voice of Zeus. He made his film debut in 1957 in "Time Limit" and went on to appear in such films as "Pork Chop Hill," "King of Kings," "The Cincinnati Kid," "Sweet Bird of Youth," "The Man Who Fell To Earth," "Coma," "City Heat," "Heartland" and "Defending Your Life." He also directed the films "The Telephone" starring Whoopi Goldberg, and "Rio Frio" starring Willie Nelson.

A native of Texas, Torn began his career after joining the Actors Studio in New York. soon he was chosen as the understudy for Ben Gazzara in the Broadway production of "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof." He went on to enjoy a long stage career that most recently saw him star on Broadway in Horton Foote's "Young Man From Atlanta."
