MARTHA PLIMPTON (Monica) was already considered a veteran film actress by the age of 26, having starred in over 30 films, including such well-respected projects as "Beautiful Girls," "I Shot Andy Warhol," "Last Summer in the Hamptons," Sidney Lumet's "Running on Empty" and John Waters' "Pecker," starring Edward Furlong. Plimpton's other films include "Parenthood," "Eye of God," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "The Mosquito Coast," "Another Woman" and "Goonies." Upcoming projects include "Music From Another Room" opposite Brenda Blethyn and Jude Law. She recently starred in "Playboy of the Western World" at Chicago's prestigious Steppenwolf Theater. As a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company Ensemble, Plimpton received a National Medal of Arts in a Fall 1998 ceremony at the White House.
