DAVID GALE (Producer) is senior vice president of MTV Films and responsible for overseeing the development and production of MTV's slate of movies. Gale's first feature was the hugely successful "Beavis and Butt-head Do America," which he executive produced. Gale also served as executive producer on MTV Films' "Dead Man on Campus" starring Tom Everett Scott and Mark-Paul Gosselaar and "Varsity Blues" starring James Van Der Beek and Jon Voight.

Gale is a producer of the upcoming films "Election" starring Matthew Broderick and Reese Witherspoon and "The Wood" starring Omar Epps, Taye Diggs and Richard T. Jones.

Prior to joining MTV Films, Gale was president of Gale Anne Hurd's Pacific Western Productions. There he executive produced "Safe Passage" and co-produced HBO's "Sugartime" and the feature film "Witch Hunt." Prior to his position at Pacific Western he was senior vice president of Ridley Scott's Percy Main Productions, creators of the Academy Award™-winning "Thelma & Louise." Gale spent three years as vice president of Business Affairs at International Creative Management after having served five years as an entertainment attorney in New York.
