STEVE BOYUM (Director) makes his feature directing debut with "Meet The Deedles," bringing to the project his wealth of experience working on over 1,000 films and television productions in a career that has spanned 24 years. He is a veteran actor, stuntman, stunt coordinator, aerial coordinator, cinematographer, second unit director and filmmaker.

Boyum received industry acclaim for his innovative and exciting work as a second unit director and cinematographer. He most recently directed and photographed the second unit for Walt Disney Pictures' live-action features "George of the Jungle," "D2: The Mighty Ducks" and "D3: The Mighty Ducks," as well as "Jingle All the Way," "Mr. Holland's Opus" and the Turner Network's "Gettysburg" and "Crazy Horse." He also designed and shot all the action sequences for "Airborne."

Boyum's other credits as a second unit director and cinematographer, and stunt coordinator include "That Darn Cat," "Beverly Hills Cop III," "Groundhog Day," "Patriot Games," "Mother's Boys" and "Dead Again." For television, his credits include the series "Wiseguy," "Stingray" and the miniseries "Something Is Out There."

He has also directed the short film "Ozzy and Harry," as well as numerous music videos and commercials.

Boyum was raised in Los Angeles and attended Moorpark College. He is a former world-class surfer, professional motocross racer, and was also a professional ski racer and ski instructor. He and his wife Nita, a photographer, reside in Los Angeles and have one daughter.
