ANGELINA JOLIE (Mary Bell) is currently filming Girl, Interrupted with Winona Ryder for director James Mangold, and recently wrapped The Bone Collector opposite Denzel Washington for director Phillip Noyce. She was most recently in the ensemble drama Playing by Heart, which also starred Sean Connery, Gena Rowlands, Gillian Anderson and Dennis Quaid, for which Jolie was awarded the Breakthrough Performance award by The National Board of Review.

Prior to that, Jolie starred in the title role of the critically praised HBO film Gia for writer/director Michael Cristofer. She received a Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and was nominated for an Emmy award for her portrayal of the supermodel who died of AIDS. Jolie also won a Golden Globe Award and received Emmy and CableAce nominations for her role opposite Gary Sinise in director John Frankenheimer's George Wallace.

Jolie also co-starred with David Duchovny and Timothy Hutton in director Andy Wilson's Playing God, and starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame mini-series True Women, directed by Karen Arthur and based on Janice Woods Windle's best-selling historical novel.

Her other film credits include Annette Haywood-Carter's acclaimed Foxfire and Iain Softly's Hackers.

A member of the famed MET Theatre Ensemble Workshop, Jolie trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and has also studied with Jan Tarrant in New York and Silvana Gallardo in Los Angeles. She is actively work shopping playwright John Ford Noonan's Music From Down the Hill, in which she will star for director Tom Bower.

Jolie has also been seen in music videos for the Rolling Stones ("Has Anybody Seen My Baby"), Meatloaf ("Rock 'n' Roll Dreams Come Through") and Lenny Kravitz ("Stand By My Woman").
