JAY ROACH (Director) most recently directed the box office blockbuster "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me." Mike Myers, Elizabeth Hurley, Robert Wagner and Seth Green reprised their roles in this sequel to Roach's wildly successful feature film debut "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery." Roach produced, co-wrote and was second unit director of "The Empty Mirror," starring Norman Roadway and Joel Grey, which screened out of competition for the International Critics' Week Side Bar in 1996 at the Cannes Film Festival. He also associate produced and wrote the story for "Blown Away," starring Jeff Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones.

For television, he co-produced, co-wrote and was second unit director of the television movie "Lifepod," a sci-fi adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's "Lifeboat," which starred Ron Silver and Robert Loggia.

A graduate of Stanford University, he received his Master's degree in film production from the University of Southern California. While at USC, his short subject film "Asleep at the Wheel" was nominated for a student Academy Award.

Born in New Mexico, Roach now makes his home in Los Angeles with his wife, recording artist Susanna Hoffs.
