A WALK ON THE MOON
is Marty Kantrowitz, a devoted husband and self-professed square
who finds his world undergoing a rapid transformation when his
wife has an affair with a Woodstock hippie.
Schreiber has come to the fore in diverse roles recently, including
starring with Paul Newman in "Twilight," in Barry Levinson's
sci-fi epic "Sphere," in the international box office
hits "Scream" and "Scream II" and in the classic
Dean Koontz horror flick "Phantoms." He was also recently
seen as one of the depraved kidnappers in the blockbuster hit
"Ransom." But Schreiber is also known for his work in
such acclaimed independent features as Stanley Tucci's beloved
"Big Night," "Party Girl" and "The Daytrippers"
with Parker Posey. Nora Ephron's "Mixed Nuts," Antonia
Bird's "Mad Love" and Hal Salwen's "Denise Calls
Up." He will next be seen in "Spring Forward" directed
by Tom Gilroy and produced by Michael Stipe.
A 1992 graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Schreiber spent a
year studying with the faculty from the Royal Academy of Dramatic
Arts. His stage credits include Harold Pinter's "Moonlight"
with Blythe Danner and Jason Robards, Joanne Akalatis's Broadway
production of "In The Summer House," the New York Shakespeare
Festival production of "The Tempest" and many other
prestigious production such as "All For One," "Goodnight
Desdemona," "Good Morning Juliet," "Escape
From Happiness," "The Real Thing," "Hamlet,"
"Richard III," "Underground," "The Size
of the World" and the Moscow Art Theatre's production of
On television, Schreiber has appeared in "Buffalo Girls,"
"People V" and "The Sunshine Boys" with Woody
Allen and Peter Falk. He also narrated the popular PBS series
"Rock and Roll."
