ELLEN BARKIN (Annette) is one of America's most consistently fascinating actresses, with critically acclaimed performances beginning with Barry Levinson's nostalgic comedy Diner and Bruce Beresford's poignant Tender Mercies. Other credits include the highly praised thriller Sea of Love, the offbeat comedy Man Trouble, The Big Easy and This Boy's Life.

Barkin also starred in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Bad Company, Wild Bill, The Fan, Harry and Son, Down By Law, Johnny Handsome, Mac and Switch.

On television, Barkin recently won an Emmy for "Before Women Had Wings," based on the bestseller by Connie May Fowler and produced by Harpo Films with Oprah Winfrey and Tina Majorino. She is also renowned for her stage work. Barkin's first theatre role came when she was cast in the stage production of "Irish Coffee" at the ensemble Studio Theater for director Robert Woodruff. She went on to work extensively on the New York stage, including a lead role in the original off-Broadway production of "Extremities" which also starred Susan Sarandon.

She will next star in Joel Schumacher's comedic thriller Popcorn, as well as Mercy opposite Peta Wilson, and White River Kid with Antonio Banderas and Bob Hoskins.
