DON CHEADLE (L.D.) was named Best Supporting Actor by The Los Angeles Film Critics for his breakout performance as 'Mouse' opposite Denzel Washington in "Devil in a Blue Dress." He recently starred in "Boogie Nights," "Volcano," and

"Rosewood," directed by John Singleton, for which he received an NAACP Image Award nomination. Cheadle's other feature film credits include "Hamburger Hill," "Colors" and "Meteor Man."

Cheadle's television credits include a starring role in HBO's "Rebound," directed by Eriq La Salle, and a two­year stint in the role of District Attorney 'John Littleton' on the dramatic television series "Picket Fences."

A talented musician who plays saxophone, writes music and sings, the versatile Cheadle also received attention for directing the stage productions of "Cincinnati Man" at The Attic Theater and the critically acclaimed "The Trip" at the Friends and Artists Theater in Hollywood.

Cheadle's upcoming projects include the July '98 release of "Out of Sight," the Steven Soderbergh directed adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel in which he will star along with George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez and Ving Rhames, and the August '98 airing of "The Rat Pack" for HBO Productions in the role of Sammy Davis, Jr.
