THE X-FILES

ROB BOWMAN (Director) has directed twenty­five episodes of the criticallyacclaimed series "The X­Files" since its debut season. His work as one of the show's producers earned him Golden Globe Awards for Best Drama in both 1995 and 1997.

Bowman began his career by directing second unit and inserts for Stephen Cannell Productions between 1982 and 1985. In 1985, he landed his first directing assignment on Cannell's action­drama "Stingray." He then went on to direct a variety of hour and halfhour drama and comedy series before directing "Genderbender," his first episode of "The X­Files" in 1993. Also in 1993, Bowman directed his first feature film, "Airborne," for Warner Bros. and Mel Gibson's Icon Entertainment.
