MADELEINE STOWE (Sarah Sunhill) earned the Best Supporting Actress Award from the National Society of Film Critics for her performance in Robert Altman's SHORT CUTS. She starred with William Hurt and Kenneth Branagh in THE PROPOSITION, with Bruce Willis in Terry Gilliam's 12 MONKEYS and opposite Daniel Day Lewis in the Oscar-nominated epic adventure THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS, directed by Michael Mann. Since her film debut in the comedy-thriller STAKEOUT, Stowe has tackled a variety of roles in films such as UNLAWFUL ENTRY, CLOSET LAND, REVENGE, THE TWO JAKES, CHINA MOON and BAD GIRLS. Her most recent work can be seen in Miramax's PLAYING BY HEART and THE IMPOSTER.
