JULIANNE MOORE is soon to be seen in Robert Altman's "Cookie's Fortune," co-starring Glenn Close, Charles Dutton and Liv Tyler," "The Map Of The World," opposite Sigourney Weaver and Gabriel Bryne, "Magnolia" directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and Neil Jordan's "The End Of The Affair" opposite Ralph Fiennes. She recently starred in Gus Van Sant's remake of "Psycho," co-starring Anne Heche, Viggo Mortensen and Vince Vaughn.

An actress of exceptional range, Moore has delivered outstanding work in both box office hits and independent features. She was recently seen in the Coen brothers' "The Big Lebowski" with Jeff Bridges and John Goodman, and Bart Freundlich's "The Myth of Fingerprints."

She starred with Burt Reynolds and Mark Wahlberg in the critically acclaimed "Boogie Nights" directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Her performance earned her both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Last summer, she starred opposite Jeff Goldblum in Steven Spielberg's box office blockbuster "The Lost World."

Julianne was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for both Robert Altman's "Short Cuts" and Todd Haynes' "Safe." She also received critical acclaim for her performances in Louis Malle's "Vanya on 42nd Street" and James Ivory's "Surviving Picasso." Her additional film credits include "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle," "Benny and Joon," "The Fugitive," "Nine Months" and "Assassins."

After earning her B.F.A. from Boston University for the Performing Arts, Julianne starred in a number of off-Broadway productions, including Caryl Churchill's "Serious Money" and "Ice Cream/Hot Fudge" at the Public theater. She appeared in Minneapolis in the Guthrie Theater's "Hamlet" and recently participated in workshop productions of Strindberg's "The Father" with Al Pacino and Wendy Wasserstein's "An American Daughter" with Meryl Streep.
