ANDREW LAZAR (Producer) graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 1989 with a double major in film production and political science. He first worked for producer Richard Zanuck for a year as a development assistant, concentrating mainly on tracking and evaluating theater, books and screenplays during the production of Driving Miss Daisy.

After moving to Los Angeles, Lazar worked at Dino De Laurentiis Communications in business affairs and in the story department. He worked his way up to helming DDLC's development and production departments as Executive Vice President of Production. During his employment, the company had produced such feature films as Army of Darkness, Once Upon a Crime, Kuffs and Body of Evidence. He also was responsible for bringing Robert M. Young to De Laurentiis to direct "Solomon & Sheba" and "Slaves of Dreams" for Showtime. Recently, Lazar was executive producer of John Dahl's science fiction thriller, Unforgettable, starring Ray Liotta and Linda Fiorentino.

He was also a producer on the Wachowski-penned Assassins with Sylvester Stalone and Antonio Banderas and will serve as producer on The Maker for director Tim Hunter starring Matthew Modine and Mary Louise Parker. Lazar also signed a 3 year first look production deal with Warner Bros.
