JOSH HARTNETT got into acting early, performing in many
Minneapolis stage productions at the Steppingstone Theater, Children's
Theater Company and Youth Performance Center. After graduating
from high school, he attended the acting program at SUNY, New
York, and in February of 1997 came to California to pursue film
and television roles.
Within two months of his first audition he landed the demanding
role of Robert Pastorelli's son in the short-lived, but critically
heralded, ABC drama series, "Cracker." He makes his
film debut in H20.
The actor will next appear in Dimension's Christmas release, THE
FACULTY, a Kevin Williamson penned thriller directed by Robert
Rodriguez, with co-stars Elijah Wood and Salma Hayek. He is currently
shooting American Zoetrope's THE VIRGIN SUICIDES with Kirsten
