HOW STELLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK

TAYE DIGGS (Winston) makes his feature film debut in HOW STELLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK. Before beginning work on STELLA, Diggs starred on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize winning play "Rent," in which he played 'Benny the landlord.'

Diggs made his show business debut in the ensemble cast of the five-time Tony Award winning play "Carousel."

He recently completed production on the film "Go," with Christina Ricci, as well as landing a role in "The Wood," a coming-of-age drama about three middle-class African-American children growing up in a Los Angeles suburb.

On television, Diggs has appeared in "New York Undercover," "Law and Order" and "Guiding Light."

Diggs was born in New Jersey and grew up in Rochester, New York, where he attended High School of the Arts. He received a BFA degree in musical theater from Syracuse University. While performing in a university talent showcase during his senior year, Diggs was discovered by an agent. Shortly thereafter he landed the role in "Carousel ."
