AARON ECKHART (Barry) -- Neil LaBute's "In
the Company of Men" marked Aaron Eckhart's first leading
film role. His performance in the role earned Eckhart the award
for Best Debut Performance at the 1998 Indepdendent Spirit Awards.
Originally from Northern California, Aaron attended Brigham Young
University, where he met LaBute and appeared in several of LaBute's
plays. Eckhart subsequently worked and studied acting in New York.
He will next be seen on-screen in "Rescue Me," opposite
Elisabeth Shue. for director John Duigan. His theater credits
include Michael Cristofer's "Amazing Grace," opposite
Marshall Mason.
