CHRISTOPHER WALKEN (Bevalaqua) has created an impressive list of innovative characterizations during a career that has spanned feature films television, and the stage. He won the 1978 Academy Award and the New York Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor for his riveting, breakthrough performance in Michael Cimino's THE DEER HUNTER.

Most recently, he completed work on SLEEPY HOLLOW and ANTZ, the animated comedy starring the voices of Woody Allen, Meryl Streep, Ann Bancroft and Sharon Stone, Michael Almereyda's TRANCE, BLAST FROM THE PAST directed by Hugh Wilson and starring Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone and Sissy Spacek.

For television, he received an Emmy nomination for the 1991 CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame telefilm "Sarah, Plain and Tall," and then reprised his role in the sequel, "Sarah, Plain and Tall: Skylark."

On stage, he has appeared in such productions as off-Broadway's "Hurlyburly," "Coriolanus" for Joseph Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival, and "Othello." He wrote and starred in "Him" at the Joseph Papp Public Theater, and received the 1997 Susan Stein Shiva Award for his work with the Public Theater.

Walken's extensive filmography includes such films as THE ANDERSON TAPES, ANNIE HALL, HEAVEN'S GATE, THE DOGS OF WAR, PENNIES FROM HEAVEN, BRAINSTORM, BILOXI BLUES, and A VIEW TO A KILL. More recently, he has appeared in such films as BATMAN RETURNS, PULP FICTION, TRUE ROMANCE, NICK OF TIME, THE PROPHECY, LAST MAN STANDING, THE FUNERAL, TOUCH, EXCESS BAGGAGE, MOUSEHUNT and SUICIDE KINGS.

He can be seen in the upcoming feature THE OPPORTUNISTS and in HBO's "Vendetta.
