ERIC IDLE (The Prospector) is best known as one of the members of the outrageously-irreverent Monty Python comedy troupe. With Britain's "bad boys" he starred in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Life of Brian, And Now For Something Completely Different and Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl.

With his unique characterizations and his natural ability to make people laugh, he has starred in many feature films including Nuns on the Run, European Vacation, Casper the Friendly Ghost, The Wind in the Willows, Splitting Heirs and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

For television, Idle starred in the NBC mini-series Around the World in 80 Days, The Rutles, The Frog Prince, and of course, the weekly television series Monty Python's Flying Circus.
