Brooklyn-born FRANK YABLANS (Producer) entered the motion picture business in 1956, working a variety of capacities that culminated, 13 years later, in his being named President of Paramount Pictures. During his tenure there, he oversaw the production of some landmark films of the 1970s: "Paper Moon," "The Godfather," "The Godfather, Part II," "Chinatown" and "The Great Gatsby." From Paramount, he segued to head MGM/UA, and then became an independent producer.

Yablans' extensive producing credits include "The Silver Streak" (co-executive), "The Other Side of Midnight," "The Fury," "North Dallas Forty," "Mommie Dearest," "Monsignor" (co-producer), "The Star Chamber," "Kidco" (co-producer), "Buy and Cell" "Lisa" and "Congo" (executive). Additionally, he co-wrote the scripts for both "Mommie Dearest" and "North Dallas Forty."
