GENE HACKMAN (General Mandible) is one of the film industry's most admired and busiest actors, with well over 60 films to his credit.

In 1993, he swept the Academy Award®, Golden Globe Award, British Academy Award, and Los Angeles and New York Film Critics Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Clint Eastwood's "Unforgiven." Earlier in his career, he won a Best Actor Oscar® for his portrayal of tough cop Popeye Doyle in "The French Connection." He earned another Best Actor Oscar® nomination for his performance as a Federal agent in the drama "Mississippi Burning," as well as two more Supporting Actor nods for his work in "Bonnie and Clyde" and "I Never Sang For My Father."
