SHARON STONE (Princess Bala) has been one of Hollywood's most sought-after leading ladies since her breakthrough starring role as a murder suspect in 1992's "Basic Instinct." In 1996, she earned an Academy Award® nomination and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her dramatic portrayal of a woman caught up in gambling and organized crime in Martin Scorsese's "Casino," in which she starred opposite Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and James Woods.

Stone made her feature film debut with a small role in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories." She went on to earn roles in such projects as "Irreconcilable Differences" and the miniseries "War and Remembrance," before garnering attention for her performance as a secret agent masquerading as Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife in the futuristic thriller "Total Recall." Her more recent film credits include Barry Levinson's "Sphere." Bruce Beresford's death row drama "Last Dance," Sam Raimi's Western "The Quick and the Dead," which she also co-produced, the action thriller "The Specialist" and "Intersection."

Stone has starring roles in two more films due out this fall. She plays the mother of a disabled child in "The Mighty," on which she served as executive producer, and also stars in the title role of the remake of "Gloria." for director Sidney Lumet.
