A NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY

JOHN FORTENBERRY (Director) lists among his extensive television directing credits Showtime's Madonna spoof, "Medusa: Dare to be Truthful," seven HBO comedy specials and Broadway Video's "Fifth Annual Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Awards." Fortenberry has directed episodes of "just Shoot Me," "Everybody Loves Raymond," "Arli$$," "Clueless," "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place," "The Dana Carvey Show," "The Ben Stiller Show" and "Night Music."

The filmmaker also helmed pilots for "John Leguizamo's House of Buggin"' for Fox; "Toonces and Friends" for NBC; and two for Nickelodeon.

As a producer for Broadway Video, Fortenberry did the videos "The Best of Dan Aykroyd," "The Best of Chevy Chase," "The Best of Gilda Radner," "Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey" and "Kids in the Hall."

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, he graduated from the University of Mississippi in Film/Television. Right out of school, he went to work at Lorne Michaels' BroadwayVideo, serving as an editor for eight years before becoming a producer/director.
