Academy Award-winning actor CUBA GOODING, JR. (Albert) is one of the most charismatic and captivating performers on the screen today. His critically-acclaimed portrayal of the flamboyant professional football player 'Rod Tidwell' in the blockbuster hit Jerry Maguire, has propelled him to the forefront of the entertainment industry. The role earned him an unprecedented number of additional honors including the Screen Actors Guild Award, the Chicago Film Critics Award, the Broadcasters Film Critics Award, the Blockbuster Entertainment Award, the Black Oscars and the American Comedy Award, all for Best Supporting Actor. In addition, Gooding was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and he was honored with the prestigious ShoWest award presented by the nation's exhibitors. He also received a nomination from the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor.

Prior to Jerry Maguire, Gooding had already established his presence in feature films with a number of impressive performances. He made his motion picture debut as the star of John Singleton's searing coming-of-age drama Boyz N The Hood, for which he received the 1991 NAACP Image Award nomination. One year later, he was featured in the Oscar nominated, A Few Good Men co-starring Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise and Demi Moore for which he was honored as the NATO/ShoWest 1992 'Newcomer of the Year."

Gooding's other screen credits include Gladiator, Judgment Night, the comedy Lightning Jack co-starring Paul Hogan, the touching drama Losing Isaiah, co-starring Jessica Lange and Halle Berry and the dramatic-thriller Outbreak co-starring Dustin Hoffman. Gooding also received critical acclaim for his role in the immensely successful As Good As It Gets starring Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt and Greg Kinnear for director James L. Brooks.

Most recently, Gooding produced and starred in the forthcoming independent thriller, A Murder of Crows, co-starring Tom Berenger. He has also completed work on Jon Turteltaub's Instinct, starring opposite Anthony Hopkins.
