APT PUPIL

Having starred in six motion pictures since his debut in 1993, BRAD RENFRO has emerged as one of the most sought after young actors currently working in Hollywood.

Renfro acted in school productions, and was ultimately discovered in a national talent search at age 10. His first role was in Joel Schumacher's The Client opposite Susan Sarandon. Having received critical acclaim for his first effort, he went directly into The Cure for director Peter Horton, portraying a young man who befriends a neighbor who is living with AIDS.

Next up for Renfro was the legendary character of Huckleberry Finn in Tom and Huck. Working with some of the industry's most respected talent, Renfro next went to work on Barry Levinson's Sleepers. Based on Lorenzo Caracaterra's autobiographical book on reform school abuse and loyalty between friends, Sleepers co-starred Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Jason Patric, Dustin Hoffman and Kevin Bacon. Before beginning Apt Pupil, Renfro co-starred again with Bacon in Telling Lies in America, based on a semi-autobiographical script by Joe Eszterhaus.
