She will next be seen in Matthew Warchus' film of Sam Shepard's "Simpatico," with Nick Nolte, Jeff Bridges, Sharon Stone, and Albert Finney.
Last year, Keener starred opposite Amy Brenneman, Aaron Eckhart, Nastassja Kinski, Jason Patric, and Ben Stiller in Neil LaBute's "Your Friends & Neighbors"; and in Steven Soderbergh's "Out of Sight" (as George Clooney's ex-wife).
The actress is best known for her collaborations with writer/director Tom DiCillo, having starred in
his films "Johnny Suede," "Living in Oblivion," "Box of Moonlight," and "The Real Blonde."
Her other films include Edward Zwick's "About Last Night...," in which she made her film
debut; and Nicole Holofcener's "Walking and Talking," with Anne Heche, for Miramax Films.
Keener's notable television work includes HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk"; and "Seinfeld."
