After receiving his BFA in film from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Coraci spent several years making short films (such as his award-winning "Coffee"), music videos, and travel documentaries. Coraci also directed and cowrote his feature film debut, "Murdered Innocence," which won Best Feature Film Award, Best Screenplay, and Best Directorial Debut at the 11th Annual Long Island Film Festival.

Coraci has collaborated with Sandler on a variety of projects, including the comedy CDs "What the Hell Happened to Me?" and "What's Your Name?" and the music videos "Steve Polychronopoulos" and "The Lonesome Kicker."
