JUDY DAVIS (Robin Simon) graduated from the National Institute
of Dramatic Art in 1977. Ms. Davis recently received a 1996 Australian
Film Industry Award as Best Actress in "Children of the Revolution."
In 1992. she was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting
Actress in Woody Allen's "Husbands and Wives" and was
nominated as Best Actress in 1984 for her performance in David
Lean's "A Passage to India."
Ms. Davis first received international acclaim in 1978 in "My
Brilliant Career." Other films include "Absolute Power,"
"Blood and Wine," "The Ref," "Naked Lunch,"
"Barton Fink," and "Impromptu." Ms. Davis
most recently worked with Allen on last year's acclaimed "Deconstructing
Harry" and has most recently completed "Thunderwith"
for Gilham Road Productions. Her television credits include "Serving
in Silence - The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story," for which
she was nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe, "The Burning
"A Woman Called Golda," and the recently completed "A
Cooler Climate" in which she stars with Sally Field under
the direction of Susan Seidelman.
