VERY BAD THINGS
CAMERON DIAZ (Laura Garrety) launched her feature film
career at age 21 after five years as a successful model, beating
out a number of established actresses to win the female lead role
in the smash hit "The Mask" opposite Jim Carrey. Since
then, she has starred in such films as "My Best Friend's
Wedding", opposite Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney and Rupert
Everett, which earned her the Blockbuster Entertainment Award
for Favorite Supporting Actress in a Comedy.
Diaz has also starred in the art house hit "The Last Supper",
"Feeling Minnesota" opposite Keanu Reeves and Vincent
D'Onofrio, Edward Burns' "She's the One" and "Head
Above Water" with Harvey Keitel and Craig Sheffer.
In addition to "Very Bad Things", Diaz's most recent
films include Danny Boyle's "A Life Less Ordinary" and
the smash hit "There's Something About Mary" with Ben
Stiller and Matt Dillon. In 1996, she was named ShoWest's Female
Star of Tomorrow by the National Association of Theatre Owners,
a title previously held by such actresses as Winona Ryder, Nicole
Kidman and Julia Ormand.
