THE END OF THE AFFAIR

A Steven Spielberg heroine opposite Jeff Goldblum in the blockbuster THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK is a million miles away from the woman JULIANNE MOORE plays in THE END OF THE AFFAIR. It is indicative of Moore's incredible range.

Recently she was seen in THE BIG LEBOWSKI and was Oscar nominated for the critically acclaimed BOOGIE NIGHTS.

Moore was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for both Robert Altman's SHORT CUTS and Todd Haynes' SAFE. She received acclaim for Louis Malle's VANYA ON 42ND STREET and James Ivory's SURVIVING PICASSO. Her other films include THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE, THE FUGITIVE, NINE MONTHS and ASSASSINS.

Recent film work includes Robert Altman's COOKIE'S FORTUNE with Glenn Close, AN IDEAL HUSBAND with Rupert Everett, Minnie Driver and Gabriel Byrne, Gus Van Sant's PSYCHO and A MAP OF THE WORLD with Sigourney Weaver.

After graduating from Boston University for the Performing Arts, Moore started her career in the theatre appearing off Broadway in Caryl Churchill's SERIOUS MONEY and ICE CREAM/HOT FUDGE. She recently performed in workshop productions of Strindberg's THE FATHER with Al Pacino and Wendy Wasserstein's AN AMERICAN DAUGHTER with Meryl Streep.

She will next be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson's MAGNOLIA.
