JEFF BRIDGES (Carter)
made his television debut in 1950 as an unaccredited infant in a show called
"The Company She Keeps." Since then, Bridges has made a name for
himself with numerous award-winning performances. Bridges has been nominated for
three Academy Awards, for his performances in The Last Picture Show, Thunderbolt
and Lightfoot and Starman, for which he won a Golden Globe. Bridges'
performances in The Fisher King earned him another Golden Globe nomination.
In 1990, Bridges was
honored with ShoWest Male Star of the Year Award. In 1992, Bridges made his
debut as a producer with American Heart, in which he also starred. For his film,
Bridges was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature and
won an Independent Spirit Award for his performance. Bridges went on to
executive produce and star in 1996s "Hidden in America" for

has been seen in the Coen brother's The Big Lebowski - for which he received a
Golden Satellite nomination - The Mirror Has Two Faces, and White
film credits include Blown Away, The Vanishing, Fearless, Texasville, The
Fabulous Baker Boys, Tucker: The Man and His Dream, Nadine, The Morning After,
Jagged Edge, Against All Odds and The Iceman Cometh.
Bridges can currently be
seen in Mark Pellington's Arlington Road with Tim Robbins and will soon be seen
in Albert Brooks' The Muse which stars Brooks, Andie MacDowell, and Simpatico
co-star Sharon Stone. The film also features numerous cameos including James
Cameron, Wolfgang Puck, Rob Reiner, Martin Scorsese and Steven Wright.
Bridges recently wrapped
production on Rod Lurie's independent film The Contender which co-stars Gary
Oldman and Joan Allen.
