Hauser recently returned from Scotland, where he filmed a starring role, alongside actor/producer Robert Duvall in Michael Corrente's "The Cup."

His film credits include Stephen Frears' "The Hi-Lo Country," Adam Goldberg's "Scotch and Milk," Gus Van Sant's Academy Award-winning "Good Will Hunting," Alexandra Sichel's "All Over Me," John Singleton's "Higher Learning," Richard Linklater's "Dazed and Confused," and Robert Mandel's "School Ties" (his film debut, which marked the beginning of his long friendship with costars Ben Affleck and Man Damon).

Hauser's television credits include a starring role on the ABC series "High Incident"; and a lead role in the NBC telefilm "A Matter of Justice." His early television appearances include three HBO productions: "The Prom," "Just for the Summer," and "The Substitute."
