BLACK AND WHITE

ROBERT DOWNEY JR. previously starred in Toback's critically acclaimed "Two Girls and A Guy" and "The Pick Up Artist." One of Hollywood's most gifted actors, Downey's talents have been showcased in a number of memorable and disparate roles. He received an Academy Award nomination and won the British Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in the title role of TriStar Pictures' "Chaplin."

Downey also starred in "Restoration" with Hugh Grant, Meg Ryan and Ian McKellen and has worked for many notable directors, including two stints with Robert Altman on "Short Cuts" and "The Gingerbread Man." He starred as a tabloid TV journalist who exploits a murderous couple to boost his ratings in Oliver Stone's controversial "Natural Born Killers" and he joined Wesley Snipes and Nastassja Kinski in Mike Figgis' "One Night Stand."

Having made an indelible impression in some of his earliest films, including "Less Than Zero," "Back To School" and "Weird Science," his ability to defy stereotyping and shine in comedies, dramas, action films and period pieces equally is evidenced by his subsequent roles. He co-starred with Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes in "U.S. Marshalls;" with Holly Hunter in Jodie Foster's "Home For The Holidays;" he played a young man with a special relationship to four ghosts in "Hearts and Souls" and co-starred with Sean Penn in "Hugo Pool," directed by his father. He also appeared with Sally Field and Whoopi Goldberg in "Soapdish," co-starred with Mel Gibson in "Air America," co-starred with Ian McKellen in "Richard III" and with Kiefer Sutherland in "1969."

Downey, who made his film debut in his father's film "Pound," was also seen in "Firstborn," "Tuff Turf," "Johnny Be Good," "True Believer," and "Chances Are."

He also directed and starred in the documentary, "The Last Party," and was most recently seen in Neil Jordan's "In Dreams" co-starring with Annette Bening and Aidan Quinn.
