NIA LONG (Sherry) recently starred in Boiler Room, with Ben Affleck, Giovanni Ribisi and Vin Diesel. She also starred in the hit movie The Best Man co-starring Taye Diggs and directed by Malcom Lee, for which she won an NAACP Best Actress Award. Long was also seen in HBO's groundbreaking drama "If These Walls Could Talk 2," in a segment about four lesbian women in the 1970's; directed by Martha Coolidge, the piece also starred Michelle Williams and Chloe Sevigny.

Long is best remembered for her role in Love Jones opposite Larenz Tate, which received tremendous critical acclaim, and tied for the prestigious Audience Award at 1997's Sundance Film Festival. Her other film credits include In Too Deep, opposite Omar Epps and L.L. Cool J, Stigmata with Patricia Arquette, Soul Food opposite Vanessa L. Williams and Vivica A. Fox, Boyz N the Hood with Cuba Gooding Jr., Friday, and Made In America opposite Whoopie Goldberg and Will Smith.

For television, she staffed opposite Will Smith on the hit sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," as well as numerous other television appearances.
