DIANE LANE (Christina Cotter) recently starred in Warner Bros.' adaptation of Willie Morris' childhood memoir, "My Dog Skip," and in one of last year's most widely praised independent films, "A Walk on the Moon."

Lane's other recent credits include Peter Masterson's independent drama, "The Only Thrill," with Diane Keaton and Sam Shepard; "Murder at 1600," opposite Wesley Snipes; and Francis Ford Coppola's "Jack," opposite Robin Williams. She also co-starred with Sylvester Stallone in "Judge Dredd" and opposite Robert Downey, Jr., as Paulette Goddard, in "Chaplin." She starred with Jeff Bridges in the western "Wild Bill," directed by Walter Hill, with whom she previously worked in "Streets of Fire." She also has a long working history with Coppola, for whom she starred in "The Outsiders," "Rumble Fish" and "The Cotton Club."

A former child actress who made her film debut starring in "A Little Romance" with Sir Laurence Olivier, Lane began her career on stage at age six. On television, her work includes an Emmy-nominated role in the acclaimed miniseries "Lonesome Dove."
