JAMIE FOXX (Alvin Sanders) recently appeared in director Oliver Stone's drama about professional football, "Any Given Sunday" with Al
Pacino, Cameron Diaz and James Woods for Warner Bros.
His other feature film credits includes starring roles in "The Great White Hype," "Booty Call" and "The Truth About Cats and Dogs."
Foxx is also currently in his fifth season of "The Jamie Foxx Show," which is one of the highest rated programs on the WB Network. Foxx not only stars but is also the show's co-creator and executive producer. He is also developing a sketch/variety series for mid-season 2000, which will replace "The Jamie Foxx Show" on the network. No stranger to television audiences, he spent three years co-starring on the landmark Fox sketch variety series "In Living Color" with Jim
Carrey, Damon Wayons and Tommy Davidson. He also had a recurring role on the Fox show, "Roc."
Also a major force as a stand-up comedian, Foxx's 1997 "Unleashed" comedy tour sold-out theaters across country, including venues like Radio City Music Hall in New York and Universal Amphitheater, where he performed a mix of stand-up, impressions and singing. Foxx will embark on a
multi-city tour in the Fall.
In addition to his film, television and stand-up career, Foxx has found success in the recording world. His first album, Peep This, hit #12 on Billboard's R&B charts.
Foxx, who wrote, performed and co-produced two tracks on the "Any Given Sunday" soundtrack, has also contributed to the "Bait" soundtrack.
Foxx lives in Los Angeles.
