PATRICIA ARQUETTE was most recently seen in the blockbuster Stigmata with Gabriel Byrne and in Martin Scorsese's Bringing Out The Dead starring opposite Nicolas Cage. The granddaughter of celebrated comedian Cliff Arquette (Charlie Weaver) and the daughter of actor Lewis Arquette (The China Syndrome, 'The Waltons"), she has distinguished herself as an actress of considerable range. Her siblings, all actors, are Rosanna, Alexis, David and Richmon.
She made her screen debut as a teenager in Nightmare on Elm Street III, and followed this by playing a hearing-impaired epileptic in the Lifetime Cable TV movie "Wildflower," directed by Diane Keaton, receiving a Cable ACE Award for her performance. She went on to work for such directors as Sam Shepard (Far North), Sean Penn (The Indian Runner), John Madden (Ethan Frome), Tony Scott (True Romance), Leonard Nimoy (Holy Matrimony), Tim Burton (Ed Wood), John Boorman (Beyond Rangoon), Matthew Broderick (Infinity), David 0. Russell (Flirting With Disaster) and Christopher Hampton (The Secret Agent).
Arquette's more recent films include David Lynch's Lost Highway, Ole Bournedal's Nightwatch, Roland Joffe's Goodbye Lover and Stephen Frears' Hi Lo Country. She will next be seen in In the Boom Boom Room and Human Nature.
