RUGRATS IN PARIS
PAUL DEMEYER (Director) was born in Belgium and studied animation with Raoul
Servais before obtaining a Masters degree
at the California Institute of the Arts. He then taught at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Gent, Belgium. For the next nine
years, he worked in London as a commercial director with Richard
Demeyer directed sequences in the "The Rugrats Movie," and from 1996-1997 he was creative producer of "Rugrats" and
other television series at Klasky
Csupo, Inc. Other Klasky Csupo, Inc. credits include directing for numerous "Duckman" episodes and commercials for MCI and Taco Bell.
In 1977, Demeyer's film "The Muse" won a student Academy Award. His film "The Goose Girl," won Best Children's Film Festival prize at the Ottawa Animation Film Festival in 1990 and at the International Animation Celebration in Los Angeles in 1991.
Demeyer also illustrates children's books.
