SAVING SILVERMAN

JASON BIGGS (Darren Silverman) made his feature film debut as Jim in the blockbuster hit American Pie. Then a relative unknown, his performance made him one of the most sought after young actors in Hollywood. For his work, he received several award nominations, including MW Movie Award nominations for Best Comedic Performance and Best Breakthrough Male Performance.

He most recently starred with Mena Suvari in the Amy Heckerling-directed Loser, in which he played an unpopular and naive college freshman. Biggs also appeared opposite Freddie Prinze Jr. and Saving Silverman co-star Amanda Detmer in the romantic comedy Boys and Girls, playing a wannabe ladies' man who will do just about anything to attract a female's attention. He will next be seen co-starring with Christina Ricci, Jessica Lange and Anne Heche in the film adaptation of Elizabeth Wurtzel's best-selling biography, Prozac Nation.

His past television credits include co-starring roles in "Drexell's Class" with Dabney Coleman and "Total Security" with Jim Belushi. His portrayal of Pete Wendall on the soap opera "As The World Turns" garnered him several award nominations and the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.

The Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey native started acting at the age of five with national commercials and modeling. At age 13, he made his Broadway debut opposite Judd Hirsch in the critically acclaimed Broadway play "Conversations With My Father."
