REGINA KING (Sontee) was honored with an NAACP nomination for Best Actress for her role opposite Will Smith in Tony Scott's action- thriller "Enemy of the State." She garnered critical acclaim for her role as Marcee Tidwell, Cuba Gooding, Jr.'s wife in Cameron Crowe's Academy Award-nominated feature "Jerry Maguire." Her additional feature film credits include "Love and Action," "Mighty Joe Young," "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," the John Singleton films "Boyz N the Hood," ''Higher Learning'' and ''Poetic Justice, and "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate."

King, a native of Los Angeles, initially made a name for herself on television as Marla Gibbs' perennially petulant daughter in the popular series "227." Her other television credits include guest appearances on ''New York Undercover," "Living Single" and "Northern Exposure." She recently starred opposite Marlee Matlin in Lifetime Television's "Where the Truth Lies," and was most recently seen in HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk 2," directed by Anne Heche.
