ABOUT ADAM

KATE HUDSON, this year's Golden Globe winner for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Cameron Crowe's "Almost Famous." Hudson made her major feature film debut in "200 Cigarettes," joining a cast that included Ben Affleck, Courtney Love and Christina Ricci. She went on to star opposite Christina Ricci, Casey Affleck and Brandon Sexton III in Morgan J. Freeman's "Desert Blue." She has also recently been seen in the college thriller "Gossip" and in Robert Altman's "Dr. T and the Women. She is currently filming Miramax's "Four Feathers," with Heath Leger, Wes Bentley and Djimon Hounsou.

On television, her appearances include the popular series "Party of Five" and the critically acclaimed drama "EZ Streets." On stage, she has participated in the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival in Pennsylvania.
