THE GLASS HOUSE

An actress whose acclaimed career has bridged childhood stardom with classic leading lady status, DIANE LANE (Erin Glass) continues to impress with each new performance.

Lane is currently filming Adrian Lyne's Unfaithful. She plays Richard Gere's adulterous wife in this psychological thriller, based on French director Claude Chabrol's 1969 film La Femme Infidele.

In Hardball, Lane's additional film due for release this fall, she stars opposite Keanu Reeves as a schoolteacher working in inner-city Chicago. The film, directed by Brian Robbins, is based on Daniel Coyle's book "Hardball: A Season in the Projects."

Lane co-starred with Mark Wahlberg and George Clooney in the hit film The Perfect Storm, directed by Wolfgang Petersen and based on Sebastian Junger's best selling story of a fishing boat caught in one of the worst storms in history.

Lane received critical acclaim as well as a Spirit Award nomination for Best Actress in the drama A Walk on the Moon. The Miramax film also starred Anna Paquin, Liev Schrieber and Viggo Mortensen, and featured actor Tony Goldwyn's directorial debut. The film debuted at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival prior to its release in the spring of 1999.

Lane also starred in the highly successfu adaptation of Willie Morris' childhood memoir My Dog Skip, Peter Masterson's independent drama The Only Thrill, opposite Diane Keaton; the political thriller Murder at 1600, opposite Wesley Snipes; Francis Ford Coppola's Jack, opposite Robin Williams; and Walter Hill's epic Western Wild Bill, with Jeff Bridges.

Additional film credits include The Outsiders, Rumble Fish, The Cotton Club, Judge Dredd, My New Gun, Chaplin and A Little Romance.

On television, Lane was most recently seen in the Hallmark Hall of Fame drama "Grace & Glorie" and in TNT's "The Virginian," opposite Bill Pullman.

Lane's previous television credits include "A Streetcar Named Desire," "The Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All" for CBS television, as well as the award- winning CBS series "Lonesome Dove," where her role opposite Robert Duvall garnered Lane an Emmy nomination as "Outstanding Lead Actress."
