Acclaimed Brazilian actress SONIA BRAGA (Mrs. Pogue) catapulted to international fame in "Donna Flor and Her Two Husbands," followed by the critically praised "Kiss of the Spider Woman," for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. "Kiss of the Spider Woman" is set for a national theatrical re-release in June, 2001.

Her feature film credits include director Robert Redford's "The Milagro Beanfleld War," Clint Eastwood's "The Rookie" and Paul Mazursky's "Moon Over Parador," for which Braga received another Golden Globe nomination. She is currently starring in Michael Rhymer's improvisational film "Perfume," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

Braga will next be seen starring in Franc Reyes' crime drama "Empire," and in several episodes of the hit HBO series "Sex in the City."

Among her numerous television credits are the CBS series "Four Corners" with Ann-Margaret, and John Frankenheimer's "The Burning Season," for HBO for which she earned another Golden Globe nomination. She was most recently seen in Gregory Nava's pilot of "American Family."
