THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS
RICK YUNE made his motion picture debut in Snow Falling on Cedars as a young
Japanese-American on trial for murder in director Scott Hicks' adaptation of
David Guterson's best-selling novel.
It was during his studies at the Wharton School in Philadelphia that the
American-born Yune was discovered by an agent and became the first Asian to
appear in print ads for such famed designers as Ralph Lauren and Versace. With a
degree in finance and entrepreneurial management, Yune landed a position as a
stock and futures trader on Wall Street.
While still working as a stockbroker, he won a number of national network commercial
and the part of Stanley in an off-off Broadway production of A Streetcar Named
Desire. Three years later, he made his debut on the popular daytime drama,
