SCARY MOVIE 2
Producer ERIC I. GOLD rejoins the Wayans brothers for SCARY MOVIE 2, having been part of the success of the first SCARY MOVIE.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Gold has become one of the foremost talent managers in the industry, having established a long and successful track record that demonstrates his ability to discover talent and produce films. In 1989 he formed the Gold Company and, in 1994, he partnered with James Miller to form the Gold/Miller Company. In July of 1999, the Gold/Miller Company joined forces with Atlas/Third Rail, a talent management/production company. In this venture. Charles Roven, Allen Shapiro, Jimmy Miller, Scott Welch, Pat Magnorella, and Gold have partnered to represent numerous talented and successful actors, writers, directors and musicians.
Gold began what would become a long run of successes as a producer, starting with the film "I'm
Gonna Git You Sucka." He then went on to produce the Emmy Award®-winning series "In
Living Color." Subsequent feature film producing credits include "Low Down Dirty Shame,"
"Most Wanted," "Major Payne," "Blankman," "Bulletproof," "Don't Be a Menace to South
Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood," "Rocketman" and "Senseless."
Gold has had equal success in the world of television. In addition to "In Living Color," he produced "Comics Only," a show that was nominated for two Cable Ace awards and ran for 165 episodes. Gold also served as an executive producer on the late night talk show "The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show," which enjoyed critical success before ending its run in 1998. Gold served as an executive producer on the hit comedy "The Wayans Brothers," which ran for five seasons on the WB network.
Today, Gold guides the careers of several well-known actors, writers, and directors, including Jim
Carrey. Matthew Lillard, Natascha McElhone, Gregory Nava, John Landis, Kevin
Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Billy Zane.
