GABRIEL MACHT is currently in Slovakia filming Behind Enemy Lines starring
Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman for director John Moore. He plays one of two naval aviators who get shot down in Serbian hostile territory circa 1995. Macht was recently seen starring in the NBC sci-fi
series The Others and opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt in the ABC movie The Audrey
Hepburn Story, playing her love interest, William Holden. His feature film credits include The
Object of My Affection, The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, 101 Ways and The Bookie's Lament, for which he both stars and produces. Gahriel's other television credits include guest spots on
Sex in the City, Spin City and two movies of the week, Follow the River and Guilty Until
Proven Innocent. Macht's formative years were spent in both New York and Los
Angeles. He graduated from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon School of Drama where he received his classical training. On stage. Macht portrayed Elvis Presley (a.k.a. "The Visitor") in Steve Martin's Off-Broadway smash, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and starred in the Joanne Woodward directed play, La Ronde, at the Williamstown Theater Festival. He remains active in theater through his association with the avant-garde Mad Dog Theater Company in Brooklyn, New York.
